Yet another movie review - The Day After Tomorrow
Tonight's movie selection was 2004's The Day After Tomorrow starring Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal. This was another of those movies that I thought I'd like to see when it came out, but just never got around to it. After seeing this movie on DVD, I think that was a big mistake.
Seems like the effects make this movie and you just don't get the full experience you would get at the theater on the 32-inch TV. I liked the movie well enough, but I think it was one that should have been seen in all its glory on the 30-foot screen.
Besides a few unbelievable parts, I've really got nothing to complain about. It was a pretty fun movie and Sela Ward is still hot at the age of 49.
If you haven't seen it, check it out. Its worth checking out, if for nothing else the environmental message. I give The Day After Tomorrow 3 out of 4 stars.
